IRON AND ENGINEERING PRODUCTS

This commodity category consists of three basic groups: iron ores, scrap metal, and steel semi-finished products and goods.

BUILDING MATERIALS

The bulk of building material transport consists of bulk substrates such as cement, desulfurization limestones, gravels, and glass-making sands, as well as the distribution of building materials and supplies.

COAL AND LIGNITE

ČD Cargo group transports coal and lignite, including coke, for both large energy groups and small consumers.

CHEMICAL PRODUCTS AND LIQUID FUELS

As the name suggests, this commodity is comprised of two basic groups: liquid fuels and other chemical raw materials and semi-finished products.

WOOD AND PAPER PRODUCTS

Transport primarily includes harvested timber from forests not only in the Czech Republic but also from many loading points across the network, which vary over time according to the sites of extraction.

FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

This commodity is dominated by the transportation of grains, largely for export across Europe, including ports, supplemented by seasonal sugar beet transports.

OTHER

This category includes all other transports – military shipments, postal shipments of the Czech Post, oversized shipments, transport of newly manufactured railway vehicles for testing, etc.

COMBINED TRANSPORT

This refers to transports carried out via intermodal transport units, namely sea ISO containers, swappable bodies, and maneuverable trailers.

AUTOMOTIVE

The transportation of newly manufactured cars and their components across Europe, with connections to logistic hubs in ports and inland.
